Our Top Tips for an Awesome Open House

Whether you’re an hour drive away or an 8 hour flight from D.C., you deserve the best experience possible during your Open House visit this Fall!

Here are some tips for getting the most out of your day:

  1. Ask questions! Our Admission Counselors and highly knowledgeable Cardinal Ambassadors will be on campus throughout the day to answer any and every question you have. Don’t be afraid to stop and ask for directions or sit down and chat about classes or student life.

  2. Make the Campus Resource Fair a “must-do” as part of your day. If you’re curious about our Honors program, Campus ministry, or CUAbroad programs, or just have some general questions about housing or other services on campus they’ll have a table set up and plenty of people to talk to! Interested in being a student athlete? This is where you can have your questions answered.

  3. Don’t be afraid to split up! If you’re parents want to go to one session, break off and learn about a program you’re interested in, then you guys can catch up later. The more info the better!

  4. If you haven’t seen all of campus yet, head to the Pryzbyla Center for a tour! Tours are going on all day until 2 p.m.

  5. Enjoy yourself! College visits can be stressful but don’t forget to relax and enjoy talking with current students to see what your experience could be like here at Catholic U!

We can’t wait to CU for our Open House this Saturday, September 22 or later on for round two on Saturday, October 27! If you haven’t registered yet, please be sure to do so by following this link: Open House Registration
