Hi everyone, It’s Graceann! I’m back to tell you about one of my favorite Insta-worthy spots right by Catholic’s campus. Union Market is a warehouse-turned-foodie heaven in D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood. It’s full of great pop-up food options and a few different vendors that sell clothing and house (or dorm) wares, among many other things. It’s also home to Angelika Pop-Up theater!
If you want a breakfast option, you can go to Buffalo & Bergen and get a delicious breakfast bagel sandwich to-go. If you’re craving something for lunch or dinner you can get Takorean (basically a Korean version of Chipotle) or a delicious sandwich/hoagie from butcher-shop RedApron. For snacks and desserts, you can get a smoothie bowl from SouthBlock or coffee and doughnuts from District Doughnut. And if you’re a little bit of a health nut and you like kombucha, then they have a Craft Kombucha company that sells delicious seasonal flavors. Honestly, the options at Union Market are endless!
To get to Union Market, all you have to do is get on the Metro’s red line and get off at the NoMa station and walk about 10 minutes to get to this fun foodie place.
